Edmonton Whiskey Festival stumbles in to downtown and wants you to shut up about its wife.

Whiskey enthusiasts from across the province arrived at the Delta Hotel this Wednesday (January 18th, 2023) for a the 12th annual Edmonton Whiskey Festival. Berta In Brief’s newest field correspondent Anita Hardone was on location for the event.

The finest of whiskeys from around the world were on display and waiting for those who had paid for entry to partake, and partake they did. We spoke to several of the attendees throughout the night.

“I’ve enjoyed whiskey, scotch and spirits for years this is just a great chance to enjoy some with some fellow enthusiasts……. except, except for that guy over there I I don’t like the way he’s looking at me.” Remarked one attendee

“My wife has never actually wanted me to come ha ha, I actually kinda snuck out of the to come last year haha she was not impressed hahaha, …………….but hey she moved out a few months ago so no sneaking out this year.”

BB: Do you think sneaking out to drink whiskey had anything to do with her moving out

“How dare you bring my wife in to this that is low doing that you just you just shut up about my wife.” Sayed another.

While some were keen to offer up intimate details about there personal lives other seemed to extremely eager to give us advice on how the event should be written.

“You know what you should do, you know what you should do, you should make sure to tell people this a charity event, because because their not going to believe it you know. It it is though and, OH MY GOD you should put a link to the charity at the end of the bottom of the article.”

The night appears to have been a complete success with VIP tickets sold out for the. Berta in Briefs would like to report on the end of the evening however our correspondent was chased out of the event by the same attendee they had spoken to earlier, who wouldn’t stop screaming about his wife.
